Men’s Singles Championship

Congratulations to Andy Houston on winning the Men’s Singles Championship for the 2020/21 season.

On Thursday, January 28, there was a wonderful match to watch when Ken Sutcliffe and Andy Houston met to play the club final of the men’s singles. Both players played superb bowls in the contest and it was neck and neck most of the way through the match. On one particular end, Ken’s bowl hit the kitty near the ditch, his next bowl put it in the ditch and Andy’s last bowl just couldn’t reach a spot nearer the ditched kitty. So you can see what a good match it was and those who weren’t there to witness the play missed one of the best games seen for a while.
